Owen Wilson plays Owen Wilson (I mean Pyrce Cahill.... LOL) as a washed up ex pro golfer turned con man that discovers Santi, a young disillusioned golfer and decides to coach him into the pro's. Its Apple TV+ and its golf so I enjoyed this show quite a bit, but it's still a far cry from perfect. Peter Deger as Santi is a hard sell although he does a decent enough job. Perhaps, knowing a little bit too much about how the game of golf actually works held me back a little. Also, the script had some flaws that were hard to overlook. Certain parts of the series seemed rushed and others just not very likely to happen. However, there is still a lot to like here in that "tin cup" kinda' way. S1 just completed this week and there was just a hint that s2 would be Wilson making his pro comeback which i would be all in on. That 7.0 IMDB rank is spot on.
