Scavenger's Reign
No hand holding here, an exploration team has to crash land on a strange and bizarre planet and are separated in their escape forming three separate storylines. Tremendous science fiction is the mold of Miyazaki and not to be missed for fans of the genre. Well-written and enchanting from start to finish. That 8.7 IMDB rating is no joke, this is that good and maybe better. Completely Amazing

The Umbrella Academy
I saw S1 when it as released and life interrupted and now that its complete, I binged the entire thing and loved it. A very atypical superhero series based on an indy comic book. It has a time-travel premise, but it is deftly handled here. It won't stand up to scrutiny(none of them do), but it's too fun to care. It is highly enjoyable and has plenty of twists and turns. Each season the gang tries to thwart an apocalypse that seems to follow them around. Well acted and well written and the finale wraps this up in a neat little package that will leave you completely satisfied. A must see by all accords, unless of course quirky weird superhero series aren't your thing...LOL

Deadpool and Wolverine
First time at the theatre in years and I never thought I'd use the phrases vastly entertaining and hugely disappointing in the same sentence, but there it is. I am SICK of the Multi-Verse its bullshit and garbage and that is the brunt of this storyline. But its filled with good jokes, easter eggs and some great fight sequences, so if that's enough for you, by all means go, but if you don't like your scripts written by monkeys avoid....8.0 is WAY too high for a script this poorly written

Twisters
Not sure how they pulled it off, but this is an entirely mediocre sequel to Twister that still somehow manages to entertain. Make no mistake this is NOT a good film, the plot is laughable at times and the performances a bit hollow, but a great soundtrack and some good vibes are enough to make this very watchable. 7.1 is too high but Turn off brain and make popcorn

The Bikeriders
Uggg...I was so looking forward to this one. However, despite an all-star cast and compelling subject matter, this is a clear misfire. A simple motorcycle club morphs into a fairly violent gang of thugs for no apparent reason? They aren't into drugs or organized crime and dont really have competition from other gangs and yet cant seem to get along. The script here is the culprit because Jodi Comer and Tom Hardy are basically beyond reproach as actors. Austin Butler for god knows what reason keeps getting these juicy parts and he still is a middling actor He likes nothing better than striking a pose. This one should anger you.....

The Instigators
A robbery gone awry in Boston is the setting for this deadpan comedy. It has familiar elements borrowed from other caper flicks and repackaged. However, this just has a fantastic cast filled with great actors working for it. The plot is a bit unplausible which holds it back somewhat, but its still very entertaining and has a great soundtrack. Not perfect by any means, but still worth the time.

Batman: Caped Crusader
Well, I guess Marvel isn't the only animation studio keeping the super hero genre alive. This is getting a lot of well-deserved hype. From DC studio's this has very Film -Noir 'feel" to it and is not aimed at children, but fans of comic books and Batman. This show looks and feels great. Outstanding stuff
