Adults
A group of 20 somethings share a house in Queens NY. This is Friends for Gen. Z. They don't live in Manhattan because no normal 20 somethings can afford to, so that's the first thing the creators got right. The second thing they did right was to cater the subject matter of the show to stuff relevant to 20 years olds. They touch upon subjects such as sexuality, unemployment, health care and drug use. A lot of this works and some real laughs can be had, if you can stomach these characters. And, therein lies the challenge for viewers that aren't GenZ. The Problem is do 20 somethings even watch TV? These characters are every bit as annoying as their GenZ counterparts, so I guess in that sense the show works, but I imagine this show may have a real audience problem. Unless Gen. Z gets off their phone long enough to watch, we may not see a very long run. Take it for what it is.
