Thunderbolts

After 4 rogue heroes are forced into a deathtrap, the survivors team up to fight the forces that be and their own past traumas. At least this wasn't another multiverse entry, the story takes place after the events of Brave New World and explores loneliness and depression in its main characters a feat the MCU hasn't attempted before. So, we are left with a bit of a dark and brooding film, especially after Century shows up, that is a bit of a character study. This was an interesting attempt to at least put in an effort to inject some much needed writing ideas for the MCU. However, I am just not sure they pulled it off. I didn't engage much with these characters or care about them, but maybe you will. I still gotta' give them points for at least trying. This isn't exactly a breath of fresh air that I felt Echo was or the incredible daredevil sequel, but it is a step in the right direction. Don't pay for it, wait for it to stream and judge for yourself.
