Reboot of the classic series. In 1937 Yorkshire, James comes to work at a veterinarians office in the English countryside and has to deal with the people and their animals. Beautifully filmed and acted this is the definition of wholesome television, it maybe a bit corny at times but its heart is always in the right place. If you like shows like Call the Midwife and know what to expect from British television there is no way possible this show will disappoint. Aimed at an Older crowd but it's still outstanding television from PBS Masterpiece theatre.
