Murderbot

With only 1 episode remaining I think its safe to chime in on this wonderful show. I confess I have read these Martha Wells books' so I maybe a bit biased, but Skarsgard turns in an amazing performance as Muderbot, the SecUnit who has hacked his own governor module (giving him freewill), that contracts with a group of "space hippies" to explore the surface of a new planet leading to all sorts of trouble. After about episode 5 we have a fairly extreme divergence from the novels, but this is one of those rare shows that actually enhances the books it's based on. AppleTV+ is just so money right now, it should come as no surprise this is extraordinary. Sci-fi comedy is extremely rare and one this well done is pretty much a unicorn. Highly, Highly recommended.
